Biography

Quan Zhang received his Ph.D. degree from the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Sun Yat-Sen University in 2024, under the supervision of Prof. Jianhuang Lai. He previously obtained his B.Eng and M.Eng degrees from Sun Yat-Sen University in 2017 and 2020, respectively. During his Ph.D. studies, he was also a visiting scholar at Johns Hopkins University, advised by Prof. Vishal M. Patel. His research interests focus on computer vision, particularly on object re-identification and virtual 3D data synthesis.
